There are no dues or fees for members; we are self- supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology, or religious doctrine; we take no position on outside issues.

Does OA have zoom meetings?

Most of the meetings are video/phone combo. When using Zoom, the video is always optional. You can turn your video off, if you choose. You can also simply join the meeting by phone, if you choose.

How do you join OA?

To be eligible for OA membership, a scout must:

  1. Be a registered BSA member.
  2. Hold First Class rank.
  3. Have approval of Scoutmaster.
  4. Complete 15 days and nights of Boy Scout camping in the 2-year period prior to the election.

What are the signs of overeating?

Symptoms & Signs of Compulsive Overeating

  • Eating what most people would think is an unusually large amount of food.
  • Eating much more quickly than usual, or eating slowly and consistently throughout the day and/or night.
  • Eating past satiety or until feeling uncomfortably full.
