The campground is open for camping in any season. Valens Lake also offers some of the best fishing around. Take on the monster northern pike, largemouth bass and panfish lurking beneath the surface of the lake. You can fish from boats, from the fishing bridge, and from piers located around the lake.

Can dogs swim at Christie Lake?

Are dogs allowed on the beach – Christie Lake Conservation Area. Dogs are not allowed on the sand or water of the beach area and must be on a leash at all times. There is an area at the west end of the park near the causeway where you can swim your dogs.
