What do the lights mean on a Baxi boiler?

What do the lights mean on a Baxi boiler?

1 green flash simply means your boiler is up to the temperature you requested. 3 green flashes means the flame went out. If this is a temporary issue, the boiler should reset by itself. If it cannot fix this it will turn into 3 red flashes (see red flashes and also see how to manually reset your boiler below).

What does the red light on my boiler mean?

Usually, when modern boilers need resetting they will display a fault code or begin to flash a red or green light. These signals indicate that your boiler senses a problem, which is why it has stopped working and needs to be reset.

Why does my back boiler keep cutting out?

Low water pressure can cause your boiler to turn itself off. A drop in water pressure can be caused in a number of ways, including a leak in your system or simply bleeding your radiators. You can check your boiler’s water pressure by looking at the gauge. A good water pressure is usually around 1 bar.

How do you fix a boiler that won’t ignite?

If you still can’t light your boiler, there could be debris blocking the jet. Boiler pilot light jets are relatively cheap to replace but can also be removed, cleaned and re-installed. Your heating engineer will be able to advise you on the best course of action and replace the jet accordingly.
