What is NW size?
The ISO standard quick release flange is known by the names Quick Flange (QF), Klein Flansche (KF, German which translates to “Small flange” in English) or NW, sometimes also as DN. Standard sizes are indicated by the nominal inner diameter in millimeters for flanges 10 through 50 mm in diameter.
What is a KF fitting?
KF flanges are a sexless design made from 304 stainless. Also known as ISO, DIN, Pneurop, Quick Flange, Klein Flange, Dell Flange and Kwik-Flange. The seal is a rubber/ elastomeric o-ring mounted in a centering ring, which aligns the flanges and holds the o-ring in position.
How does a KF flange work?
These KF flanges are ISO-standardized vacuum fittings that can be mated to a vacuum system using a wing nut clamp and an O-ring carrier (sold below). The angled sides of the wing nut clamp compress the O-ring between the flanges, quickly creating a vacuum seal.

ConFlat (CF) fittings are flanges which utilize metal seals to attain vacuum conditions. The combination of a stainless-steel knife-edge flange and a copper gasket (OFHC) makes for a nearly impenetrable vacuum barrier. This guarantees a strong and uniform seal over the copper gaskets.
